Conversational English for Freelancers Part 16 – Future Continuous Tense and Future Perfect Tense

Hello all? Today we will talk about future continuous tense and future perfect tense. Let’s jump into it.

Definition: 

Future continuous tense tells us about an action that will happen in the future and that will continue for an expected length of time.

Example

Nishat will be playing card games at 8 pm.

Ahmad will be working as SEO expert from Sunday.

 Structure

Subject + shall / will + be + verb ing form + rest of the sentence.

Negative Form:

Structure:

Subject + shall /will + not + be + verb ing form + rest of the sentence.

Let’s see some examples.

Kobir will not be doing this work.

Rashed will not be eating food.

Ahmad will not be attending in the meeting.

Interrogative form:

Structure:

Shall/Will + Subject + be + verb ing form + rest of the sentence. + ?

Let’s see some examples.

Will Asif be working on Sunday at 9 pm?

Will kobir be working as a chief engineer in Hotel Ascott Palace.?

Will Pentanik IT will be offering new courses?

We have discussed shortly about future continuous tense, now we will talk about future perfect tense.

Definition:

This tense tells us about a completed action in the future.  This means an action which will occur in future and it will start from a point and will be continuing.

Example:

Asif will have been in Dhaka on 7th of March.

Structure:

Subject + Shall / will + have been + verb ing  form + rest of the sentence.

Negative Form:

Now we will talk about negative form. To make positive form  to negative we just need to  add not to the  whole  sentence. Let’s see an  example:

Kiran will not have been  working on 3rd of April.
