ওয়ার্ডপ্রেস এর কাজ করতে প্রথমে আমাদের যে টপিকের সাথে পরিচিত হতে হবে সেটা হোলো ড্যাসবোর্ড।
ড্যাসবোর্ডঃ প্রথমে ওয়ার্ডপ্রেস থেকে ইউজার আইডি এবং পাসওয়ার্ড দিয়ে ড্যাসবোর্ডে প্রবেশ করতে হবে। এখানে ব্যাকএন্ড থেকে ফ্রন্টএন্ডে যাওয়া যাবে আবার ফ্রন্টএন্ড থেকে ব্যাকএন্ডে। ব্যাকএন্ড থেকে ভিজিট সাইটে ক্লিক করলে ফ্রন্টএন্ড বা থিম পেজে যাওয়া যাবে আবার ফ্রন্টএন্ড থেকে ড্যাসবোর্ডে ক্লিক করলে সরাসরি ড্যাসবোর্ডে চলে আসবে।
নেভিগেশন ক্লিক করলে visit site নামে একটি অপশন আসবে। এরপর Ctrl বাটন চেপে ধরে যদি visite site-এ ক্লিক করা হয় বা visite site এর উপর মাউসের right বাটনটি ক্লিক করে open in a new tab অপশনটি ক্লিক করা হয় তাহলে একটা নতুন ট্যাবে ফ্রন্টএন্ড ওপেন হবে। এতে করে ব্যাকএন্ডে কাজ করে ফ্রন্টএন্ডে তা মনিটর করা যাবে।
সেটিংসঃ সেটিংস থেকে জেনারেলে গিয়ে সাধারন সেটিংসগুলো পরিবর্তন করা যায়। যেমনঃ সাইটের নাম, ট্যাগ লাইন, থিম, কালার ইত্যাদি।
পোস্টঃ ড্যাসবোর্ডে পোস্ট বলতে বুঝায় আপনার ভিন্ন ভিন্ন ব্লগ বা কন্টেন্টের সমন্বয়। যেমন মনে করুন কোনো পত্রিকার ওয়েবসাইটে যদি আপনি প্রবেশ করেন তাহলে দেখতে পাবেন তাদের প্রতিটি খবরের জন্য ভিন্ন ভিন্ন পেইজ আছে। এই পেইজগুলোই হোলো এক একটা পোস্ট। ড্যাসবোর্ডের ক্যাটাগরিতে প্রবেশ করে আপনারা আপনাদের পোস্টগুলোকে স্লাগের মাধ্যমে ভিন্ন ভিন্ন সেক্টরে নাম দিয়ে মেইনটেইন করতে পারবেন।
ট্যাগঃ ট্যাগস জিনিসটা হচ্ছে প্রত্যেকটা পোস্টকে রিপ্রেজেন্ট করার জন্য আমরা কয়েকটা শব্দ ব্যবহার করতে পারি। ট্যাগ দিলে যে সুবিধাটা হবে সেটা হোলো, কেউ যদি আপনার ওয়েবসাইটে প্রবেশ করে ঐ ট্যাগ অনুযায়ী কোন কিছু সার্চ করে তাহলে আপনার ঐ পোস্টটা খুব সহজেই পেয়ে যাবে তাছাড়া ঐ ট্যাগ রিলেটেড অন্যান্য ভিডিও গুলোও তাখন সাজেশনে পেয়ে যাবে।
